Doopdy Doop Doop Doop.
On my recent-ish trip to England, we stopped at Singapore. Singapore is a very different place to Australia. It has a different name and everything. Seriously, their culture (to us) is messed up, and our culture (to them) is messed up. So, as you can guess this could cause some kind of confusion.
The youths of Singapore are mainly (as I like to group them) "anime wanna-be's". A lot of them wear costumes or outfits that their favorite characters of whatever is popular on TV at that time, and hang around the arcades playing those silly dance game thingos. This to me isn't weird, as when I travel to Sydney, I see a lot of that. It's just the way it is.
When I was there, I was also seeing "gothic-type" teenagers wearing nothing but black (as goths do) BUT...here's the weird part...they hadn't cut off the price tags and stuff. It was the so-called "fashion" and I hear it is big in America. I think its gay. Clothes need CHARACTER and WEAR...not PRICETAGS and BARCODES.
*Sigh* I am now sounding like an old fart. Whining about what people wear is the first sign of GETTING OLD. Well I am not old. I am 18. I think I am just either getting more insane as I live, or listening to my imaginary friend too much.
