Next weekend...

Next weekend is going to be a killer. OK...So I am going to start the Friday (22nd of April) with VERY awesome music from the Funky Hillbillies. This is their album (well, single) launch and that means that they need some special guests to open for them...how do the National Pornographics sound? Well...AWESOME. They have that same-ish funky rhythm to them that the Funky Hillbillies are known for. If you love music for what it is, such as complicated rhythms and beautiful melodies, then please...I urge you to attend this very awesome show. OK...the second awesome thing for the weekend of the 23rd and 24th is that I am going to be going to The Cat Empire with a few of my mates in CANBERRA! The Cat Empire are only playing at capital cities in Australia before they head off on their America and Europe tours. I am looking forward to this SO much. Live music is what music is ALL about...not any of this electric crap that can't be performed live...I mean come on, music is 80% about the music and 20% about the performance.
