Always busy

Doesn’t it suck when you want to go out...are all ready, have plans AND surprises...cancelled other plans and are PUMPED to see someone/do something, when those plans just get cancelled? Or...for example here...(completely made up from scratch) You have bought a ticket to the Big Day Out, and are PUMPED. You are personally looking forward to see The Polyphonic Spree, or the Beastie Boys or something, when SUDDENLY the Mayor of Sydney calls and says "Er...sorry dude, no BDO today." on the morning of the BDO. HOW MUCH WOULD THAT SUCK?! ...That is IF you were looking forward to go to the BDO. What if you were looking forward to the new Star Wars movie (I know I'm not) and you bought your ticket and popcorn and hired your Chewbacca suit or however the hell you spell that...then the Cinema people come out and say "Yeah, sorry...we were busy with other things tonight, so you are just going to get forgotten...thanks for coming though!"

I am sure that would piss the calmest of us off...not that exact situation, but you know...something similar and maybe more personal.

Speaking of the Big Day Out (well, I was before) it was quite awesome this year. Anyone else reading this go? Post a comment...I want to know.
